Job title: Assistant Professor
Field and specialization: Eastern European Studies with specialization in Caucasology
Expected salary/job rank: AP3
Full-time position (40 hours per week)

Job description:

  • teaching within the applicant’s specialization, primarily M.A. level courses will be expected
  • supervision of students’ projects and theses
  • conducting independent research program within the applicant’s areas of expertise
  • development of projects with external funding, aiming toward strengthening international cooperation

Job requirements:

  • docent in the area of specialization
  • adequate teaching experience
  • excellent knowledge of minimally one language of Caucasus, literature and culture of Caucasus
  • ability to teach in at least one world language (English, French, or Russian language)
  • adequate publication record in the field of specialization
  • organizational and administrative skills
