Institute of Plasma Physics of the Czech Academy of Sciences is preparing the construction of a new large-scale physical experiment for the research of thermonuclear fusion (tokamak), and it is looking for developers to develop an experiment control system and systems for physical data acquisition.

Job description:

  • software development for tokamak control and management system
  • data acquisition systems programming
  • cooperation on the integration of individual diagnostics into common tokamak control system
  • software testing
  • creation of technical documentation

Required education:

  • master degree in physics, software engineering  or IT, electrical engineering

Knowledge and skills:

  • good knowledge of object-oriented programming in C++
  • development under Linux

Required languages:

  • English (upper-intermediate)

The advantage is:
