POST-DOC POSITION IN THE FIELD OF

“Plasmonic photocatalysis”

supervised by Dr. Alberto Naldoni

 

The Photoelectrochemical Division of the Regional Centre of Advanced Technologies and Materials at Palacký University in Olomouc (Czech Republic) announce the opening of a new postdoctoral position in plasmonic catalysis for biomass conversion. The successful candidate will design, fabricate and functionalize plasmonic arrays of nanoantennas and test them for solar fuel generation and selective chemical transformations.

Required experience:

Ph.D. in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related fields
Fabrication of plasmonic nanostructures arranged in periodic arrays or synthesized as nanocrystals
Photocatalysis for hydrogen evolution and/or sustainable chemicals
Experience in Computational Nanophotonics is not required, but will be positively considered

The candidate will also have the possibility to access clean room facilities.

Formal requirements:

PhD or equivalent in any field of Chemistry, Nanophotonics, Electrical Engineering, good publication record, excellent oral and written English.
